Owner, Chief Financial and Nursing Officer Sherry is the heart of Phoenix Wildland LLC. On top of being an owner she is also our Chief Financial officer and Chief Nursing officer. She works the magic behind the curtain and without her we couldn't be as successful as we are. Not only is she the heart and soul of Phoenix wildland she' s passionately working as an ICU CCRN! She also handles our HR department, oversee all of our VIPR and SAM contracts and keeps the Crew on their toes! |
Peter Ringen
Owner, Chief Operations and Training Officer,
Wildland Firefighter- Engine Boss
Peter’s passion is wildland firefighting . Over the last 12 years, he has had a combination of experience working for local structural fire departments, to include EL Paso County Sheriff's Office Wildland Fire Crew and the U.S Forest Service. Pete worked his way from basic Wildland Firefighter to Engine Boss and is now a Proud owner of Phoenix Wildland LLC.

Nick Rutherford,
Wildland Firefighter- FFT1/ICT5(trainee)
Prior to his arrival here at Phoenix Wildland in 2022, Nick served the in the U.S Army. After leaving the Military he joined a local Fire Agency starting his Fire Career in 2021. When he joined Phoenix Wildland Nick was put in the position of a “Call when needed Firefighter” but with his dedication and drive to be the best he could be, He was moved into a permanent seat before his first Roll with Phoenix during the 2022 Fire season and hasn’t looked back since. Nick started with us, as a basic Type 2 Firefighter and has worked his way into his current position as a Type 1 firefighter(trainee)/Type 5 incident commander(trainee). Nick and Peter have fought fires together in New Mexico, Oregon, California, Idaho and Nebraska, along with countless hours of training. Nick’s goal is to remain with Phoenix for the longevity of his Fire career and eventually run his own Engine within Phoenix wildland.
