Phoenix Wildland LLC is proud to offer NWCG standard training courses for our employees. Courses are taught by Chief Training Officer Peter Ringen, a NWCG certified M-410 ( Facilitative Lead Instructor)

Some of our employees express interest in gaining more experience with a goal of moving on to work for the USFS, BLM, US Parks Services and other agencies. We take this seriously and always strive to support our employees. In Fact we have been successful in helping several employees meet this goal.

Phoenix Wildland LLC is unique company that is able to train their employees with NWCG courses.
Classes include all S-100 through S-200 series classes. We are also provide Basic FFT2 S-130 Field days for new hires.

We instruct our own RT-130 and WCT to all of our employees Annually. RT-130 is ideally held annually between Late February - Mid March. but this is subject to change due to Weather conditions.
We hire and complete all annual Training to ensure that our team is properly trained in the event of early season call outs for region 3 Resource Orders.

- Spinning WX / Radio Transmissions
- Avenza Mapping
- Compartment inventory and compliance
- Deployment of Progressive Packs and Proper Packing of Packs
- RTO Training
- Pump and Drafting Familiarization Training
- Red Bag Checks/ Company uniform disbursement/ SOP & SOG Review
- Annual S-212 Recertification Training
