Owner, Chief Financial and Nursing Officer Sherry is the heart of Phoenix Wildland LLC. On top of being an owner she is also our Chief Financial officer and Chief Nursing officer. She works the magic behind the curtain and without her we couldn't be as successful as we are. Not only is she the heart and soul of Phoenix wildland she' s passionately working as an ICU CCRN! She also handles our HR department, oversee all of our VIPR and SAM contracts and keeps the Crew on their toes! |
Peter Ringen
Owner, Chief Operations and Training Officer,
Wildland Firefighter- Engine Boss
Peter’s passion is wildland firefighting. Over the last 12 years, he has had a combination of experience working for local structural fire departments, to include EL Paso County Sheriff's Office Wildland Fire Crew and the U.S Forest Service. Pete worked his way from basic Wildland Firefighter to Engine Boss and is now a Proud owner of Phoenix Wildland LLC. Pete isn't just another owner, not only is Pete out on an Engine during the season he takes pride and dedicates himself to training his staff to be prepared and excel in any situation.

Peter’s passion is wildland firefighting. Nick Rutherford,
Interim Operations Manager
Wildland Firefighter- ENGB
Prior to his arrival here at Phoenix Wildland in 2022, Nick served the in the U.S Army. Nick joined Phoenix Wildland for the 2022 fire season as a “Call when needed Firefighter” but was quickly moved into a permanent seat during his first year with Phoenix and hasn’t looked back since. Nick started with us, as a basic Type 2 Firefighter and has worked his way into his current position as an Engine Boss (trainee). Nick and Peter have fought fires together in New Mexico, Oregon, California, Idaho, Washington and Nebraska, along with countless hours of training. Nick’s goal is to remain with Phoenix for the longevity of his Fire career and continue to move up through the ranks.
